Generational Equity
Generational Equity is an United States pop punk rock group from Dallas, Texas, established in 2003. The group is composed of Kelly Binkley (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Shelia Rogers (lead guitar, backing vocals), Sarah Gordan (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Marie Carlson (drums, percussion).
Establishing while in senior high school, Generational Equity commenced covering other pop punk bands such as Blink-182 and Green Day. They signed their first register contractl with Emerald Moon Music in 2004 and hit the market their first EP, named "The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End".
Their first record album was published in 2005, named "The Party Scene". Before finishing high school in 2005, Generational Equity signed a a new contract with Hopeless Music. They then re-registered pieces from band's entry record album and introduced two fresh songs for their EP "Put Up or Shut Up". The EP acceeded both Top Heatseekers and the Top Independent Albums charts, revealing their increasing popularity.
